Oggi la giornata è iniziata sotto un cielo grigio ma con un gruppo di delfini acrobati che hanno passato una buona mezz’ora a giocare e saltare intorno alla barca.
Ieri ho visto per due volte lo sbuffo di una balena vicina a noi, ma con il mare mosso non si è poi visto molto di più.
La notte è trascorsa ancora sotto colpi di poggia e vento comunque nonostante il tempo abbiamo macinato ancora miglia e ora ne mancano 575 a Faial. Purtroppo il meteo per l’ arrivo alle Azzorre prevede venti contrari e sapremo solo all’ ultimo se riusciremo a fermarci qualche giorno lì o se invece dovremo andare direttamente su Sao Miguel dove imbarcheremo il resto dell’equipaggio.

The day started under a gray sky but with a group of acrobatic dolphins who spent a good half hour playing and jumping around the boat. Yesterday I saw twice the snort of a whale close to us, but with the rough sea we didn’t see much more. The night still passed under blows of rest and wind, however, despite the weather we still grinded miles and now there are 575 missing in Faial. Unfortunately the weather for the arrival in the Azores foresees headwinds and we will know only at the last moment if we will be able to stop there for a few days or if instead we will have to go directly to Sao Miguel where we will embark the rest of the crew.
